NOTE: 8Minute Musicals (
8minutemusicals.org) pairs writers and composers who have never previously worked together. They are given 16 days to write an 8 minute musical. It’s sort of like 24 hour plays except the timeline is longer – and it’s for musicals. It’s a cast of 10 (5 male, 5 female). Since the parts haven’t yet been written, the idea is just to get a diverse group of looks and voices. Basically fill in the slots with people you love who would be great inspiration for writers and composers.
