Northern Light Theatre and the Good Women Dance Collective Bring THE CARDIAC SHADOW to Canada in 2019

Northern Light Theatre comes together with the Good Women Dance Collective this new year for THE CARDIAC SHADOW. This Canadian premiere comes to The Studio Theatre in the ATB Financial Arts Barns opening January 18, 2019. The show currently has a closing night set for February 2, 2019. There is also a preview performance on Thursday, January 17, 2019.

Based on a true story - Four women are procured from the Ravensbruck concentration camp, hand-selected by SS Second Lieutenant Dr. Sigmund Rascher for a series of experiments specifically designed to measure the human body's endurance to extreme temperatures - tests that would benignly come to be known as the Cold Conference. The voices of these four women have since disappeared. Where does the human spirit go when the body must remain behind, frozen inside an atrocity?

Starring ALIDA KENDELL, NADIEN CHU, ALISON KAUSE, ELISA BENZER, KATE STASHKO, RACHEL BOWRON, AINSLEY HILLYARD, MEGAN DART, and Vance Avery.
