Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams tells the story of the intertwining relationships between the members of Big Daddy Pollitt's family, primarily between his son Brick and his wife Maggie "the Cat". Tensions erupt and boundaries are tested as these people seek to uncover hidden truths and contest each other for a piece of the Pollitt estate in the process. A popular and timeless classic, winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955, the play examines human behavior through greed, sexual desire, mendacity, and mortality.

The Wit Theatre Company, newly established in 2012, strives to make the Denver community an environment in which talented artists can collaborate to bring life to stories that are entertaining, relevant, and provocative. The Wit Theatre Company works as an ensemble performance company that strives to produce collaborative theatre art and consists of a board of eight local Denver artists.
