The Bug Theatre to Present UNDER THE BUG TOP

The Bug Theatre is thrilled to present "Under the Bug Top: An evening of circus sideshow acts, carnival games, entertainment and more." "Under the Bug Top" will be August 5, 2016. Doors open at 6:00 pm. And the show begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 and include three tickets for the games and food, and more tickets will be available for $1 each. "Under the Bug Top" is a fun-filled evening of entertainment for the whole family. The lineup includes performances from Swami Bill and his Olde Tyme Flea Circus, Ginger Snap: The Electric Girl, Shea Freelove and his Bed of Nails, Mago's Medicine Show Snake Oil Pitch and Burlesque from Vivienne VaVoom. The host and Carnival Barker will be the Bug Theatre's own GerRee Hinshaw.

You can also check out the famous Cabinet of Curiosities! See the Fiji Mermaid and the ShrunKen Heads of Bora Bora! Check out the Alligator Man, a mummified leprechaun and an Alien Skull! What curiosities will the cabinet reveal? Come see for yourself at "Under the Bug Top!"

In addition to all the exciting sideshow acts and entertainment, there will be lots of interactive carnival games for the whole family, plus carnival-style food, beer and wine will also be available for purchase.

Proceeds from this event will be dedicated to improvements to the more than 100-year-old Bug Theatre building and its equipment. Donations are also welcome.

Swami Bill and his Old Tyme Flea Circus is a mysterious combination of entertainment - expect a Flea Circus, Magic, Fortunes Told, Souls Weighed and more... all for your entertainment! Then catch Ginger Snap, the Electric Girl, who shocks and amazes with her uncanny ability to withstand over 500,000 volts of electricity. You'll be shocked and amazed as Shea Freelove shows his skill on a bed of sharp nails and you'll laugh along with Max Mago and his Medicine Show Snake Oil Pitch. Then wrap it all up with burlesque from Denver's own Vivenne VaVoom. A versatile vixen of the classic ecdysiasts art, Vivienne VaVoom can generally be found bumping and grinding a mile high in her hometown of Denver. Known for her "Timeless Tease" style, this classic coquette has performed around the country and the world, including Miss Exotic World, Tease-O-Rama, New York Burlesque Fest, the Helsinki Burlesque Fest and Miss Burlesque New Zealand.
