THE COLOR PURPLE - The Musical About Love (directed by Donnie L. Betts with music direction by David Wohl and choreography by Janice Guy-Sayles) runs through May 12, 2013 at The Aurora Fox (9900 East Colfax Avenue).

An inspiring family saga based on Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize winning novel. The Color Purple is the unforgettable story of two sisters who remain loyal to one another across time, distance, and silence. One of them, Celie, abused from a young age and estranged from her sister, is motivated by the free-thinking women she encounters to triumph over adversity and find her unique voice in the world. Set to a joyous score featuring jazz, ragtime, gospel and blues, this is a story rich with passion, pain, inspiration, and an indomitable love of life.

The production's creative team includes: Stage management by Lindsay Sullivan, Set Design by Jen Orf, Lighting Design by Rachael Dugan, Costumes by Linda Morken and Sound Design by El Armstrong.

Tickets are $28 for adults and $24 for seniors and students. For tickets and/or group rates call: 303-739-1970 or visit www.AuroraFox.org.
