NOW PLAYING: Town Hall Arts Center Presents THE PRODUCERS thru 6/17

By:

Town Hall Arts Center’s 30th Anniversary Season continues with the smash hit, THE PRODUCERS playing now through June 17th (Book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, Music and Lyrics by Mel Brooks). This musical is directed by Robert Wells, choreographed by Kelly Kates with musical direction by Donna Kolpan Debreceni.

Featured in this production are Bernie Cardell as Max, Tim Howard as Leo and Nicole Campbell as Ulla. Winner of a record 12 Tony Awards, The Producers is outrageous, hilarious, and “off the wall.” You will find yourself holding your sides with laughter as Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom sing and dance their way through the greatest show biz scam that there ever was!

After a hiatus of a year from performing, Bernie Cardell is happy to be back on stage at Town Hall. “Town Hall has a track record for quality shows, so one thing that has changed is the “bar” of quality has been raised. (And I can confidently say that The Producers will not disappoint.)” As to how prepared he and the cast are for the show, Bernie said, “Max can be a very difficult role to play and The Producers is a show that is like a speeding train: Once it starts,it just doesn’t stop! This is a very funny group of people to hang out with. It’s one of the most talented casts I have
ever been a part of. In particular, audiences should keep an eye on the entire ensemble. I have never in all of my experience seen a busier group of people than in this show. They are everywhere! And they are fabulous!”

Town Hall’s production of THE PRODUCERS is now through June 17th. Show times are Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. (& 2:00 p.m. on 6/2) & Sundays at 2 p.m. (& 6:30 p.m. on 6/10). For tickets or more information, contact the box office at 303-794-2787 ext. 5 (M – F, 1 – 5 pm) or online at www.TownHallArtsCenter.com . In a continuing effort to make plays at Town Hall Arts Center accessible to all, ten value seats at $10 each will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis one-hour prior to each published curtain time.

Town Hall Arts Center is a Colorado 501(c) 3 not for profit organization.
