PHAMALY celebrates the 4th year of the innovative, original sketch comedy show VOX PHAMALIA: QUADRAPALOOZA, playing now through November 6 with two encore performances on November 7 & 8. Sketches performed are written and performed by PHAMALY actors with disabilities, all with a unique and comedic perspective on living with a disability. Funnier and more outrageous than ever, VOX PHAMILIA: QUADRAPALOOZA features reviews of blockbuster new films: "Pushing Him Into Thin Air", "The King's F***king Speech", and "10,987 Hours." Dr. Twanna answer questions like "Were you born this way?" and "How do have sex if you're paralyzed?" Find out why Kelly's left foot is stashed under her bed and see Mother Goose deal with a group of rabidly politically correct preschoolers.  We have an NPR-like show called "Wait Wait You've Got to Be Kidding Me" along with speed dating, songs, Phampathy cards, Charlie Sheen, and a celebrity appearance every show.

Vox welcomes celebrity guest appearances by Denver City Auditor Dennis Gallagher, 9news Entertainment Reporter Kirk Montgomery, comedians Josh Blue and Naughty Pierre, radio journalist and filmmaker Donnie E. Betts and former Denver Bronco, media personality and respected community advocate Reggie Rivers.

Led by well known Colorado Director/Playwright Edith Weiss, Vox PHAMALIA Studio Series is the result of an annual writing-to-performing development workshop, designed for PHAMALY members to explore the process of writing an original piece, having it selected and taken to performance. The theatrical devices of improvisation, sketch comedy, dramatic story telling and music are all used in the workshop process.

Now celebrating its 22nd season, PHAMALY is an award winning Colorado based Theatre Company comprised entirely of performers with a wide variety of physical challenges.  PHAMALY's mission is to provide professional theatre opportunities and artistic development for performers with disabilities, and to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the performing arts community. PHAMALY is the proud recipient of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce 2011 Small Nonprofit Business of the Year.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.  For tickets or more information, go to www.phamaly.org or call the Avenue Theater Box Office at 303-321-5925.
