Miners Alley Children's Theatre Presents SLEEPING BEAUTY

This brand new look at the classic story of Sleeping Beauty brings a fresh take on the fairy tale you know so well. Get ready for adventure, intrigue and audience interaction galore! With Erin Banta as Wanda the Evil Fairy, Seth Harris as Willy the Good Fairy, Caitlin Conklin as the Queen, Molly Fickes as Sleeping Beauty and Erik Thurston as Prince Thumblebee. Bring your camera for pictures before, during and after the show - your child may even get to come on stage to help with the story - a fun day for the whole family in downtown Golden, CO!

"Sleeping Beauty" begins on July 21 and runs through August 18. Performances are every Saturday at 1 p.m. through August 4, and at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. August 11 and 18 at Miners Alley Playhouse, 1224, Washington Avenue, Golden, CO 80401. Alaina Beth Reel - Director and Playwright - has been a Working Theatre professional for the last 15 years. In addition to many commercials, voice-over, and short films, she has performed on an array of stages across Denver, including the DCPA New Play Summit, Curious Theatre Company, The Catamounts in Boulder, Town Hall Arts Center, the Aurora Fox Theatre, and in children's theatre tours throughout Colorado. She is also very active at Miner's Alley Playhouse, appearing most recently in The 39 Steps and the musical Cabaret, teaching YETI summer camps and after-school classes and performing with the Miners Alley Children's Theatre in shows such as Rumpelstiltskin and Robin Hood.
