CANNABIS CARNIVAL II to Kick Off Next Week at The Fillmore Auditorium

By:

The Fillmore Auditorium will be ablaze with cannabis culture, music, performance art, acrobatics and dance alongside carnival-themed attractions, games and food for the second annual Cannabis Carnival on June 30th.

NCIA (National Cannabis Industry Association), the legal cannabis industry's only national trade association, is bringing together a host of world-class musicians supporting the growth of a responsible cannabis industry for the second edition of "Cannabis Carnival". The multi-sensory fundraising and concert experience will take place during NCIA's annual Cannabis Business Summit & Expo next week.

With musical guests that read like the who's who of independent music, the night will feature internationally renowned "avant-groove" trio Medeski Martin & Wood, improvisational supergroup Everyone Orchestra, conducted by Matt Butler along with members of The String Cheese Incident, Big|Brave Gigantic, Papadosio, The Motet, Tea Leaf Green, Elephant Revival, The Bridge, and The Congress. The night will also feature a solo DJ set with Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation) and a performance with audio/visual masters Quixotic --- known for a mind-bending production replete with dance, aerial acrobatics, projection mapping, high fashion, and original live music.

Set to take place on Saturday night of Colorado's Cannabis Business Summit & Expo (the most influential B2B conference and trade show in the industry) the annual convention and educational summit offers industry professionals a place for networking, brand building and educational opportunities of all kinds. The largest event of the year for NCIA, the primary goal of the organization is to legitimize the emerging industry while furthering cannabis policy reform on the federal level.

A serious topic for one of the fastest growing industries in the nation, the Cannabis Carnival II allows guests both local and national a chance to blow off a little steam while getting to know industry professionals in a fun environment.

"We're proud to support NCIA and their efforts nationwide," says John Medeski. "It's time to end the prohibition and stop the senseless war on marijuana. We're looking forward to performing at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, one of our favorite cities in America, and to being part of this important event."

Tickets for Cannabis Carnival II are on sale now and are available on the official event website and at LiveNation.com including both general admission and VIP opportunities.
