ARMANDO: A SHOW FOR LOVERS to Play Bovine Metropolis Theater, 2/14-15
Prepare for a celebration of love from the theater that adores improvisation. "Armando, a Show for Lovers" is the Bovine Metropolis Theater's loving tribute to Valentine's Day. February 14 and 15, Bovine Metropolis Theater will be interviewing couples to create a commemoration of relationships and that wonderful emotion that makes it all possible.
Three couples in different stages of their love lives, will be welcomed on stage, and interviewed by the cast. A group of talented improvisers will bring all the joys and hilarity of their relationships to life on stage through improvisation.
"My favorite thing about "Armando: A Show For Lovers" is that we talk to real couples about their lives, and that is what fuels the improv for the night," said Artistic Director, Eric Farone. "You will definitely see elements of your own relationship on stage."
The romantic language basis of the name, Armando, inspired Bovine Metropolis Theater to use the form for their Valentine's Day show.
The Armando, like other improvisation, is great at bringing people together. The couples will no doubt feel closer by the end of the show and step into that magic that started their relationship. If you want to deepen your love life, there's no better way than to see what excellent comedy love can make.
"Armando, a Show for Lovers" has two special showings, on February 14 and 15, at 8 pm. Tickets are $45 for a couple, or $25 for an individual. Each couple will get a rose. Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone and at the box office.
Bovine Metropolis Theater is located at 1527 Champa Street in the heart of the Denver Theatre District. The Bovine is an improv organization that teaches and performs theatrical improvisation, the art of accepting the unknown gracefully.
