Possum Point Players Present I REMEMBER MAMA, 6/8
By: Max Schwager
Possum Point Players presents I Remember Mama, written by John Van Druten, adapted from Kathryn Forbes' book "Mama's Bank Account" and directed by John Hulse from June 8th-17th.
In turn-of-the-century San Francisco, Mama, with Papa and their motley assortment of eccentric relatives, friends, and boarders, raise her four children through childhood, as the kids keep everyone in pleasant turmoil in this heartwarming story. Mama’s compassion and wisdom prevail through illness, poverty, romance, life-changing decisions of her children and sisters, and the arrival of her Uncle Chris and his female companion.
