Disaster has struck La Comedia Dinner Theatre! Featuring disco and pop hits, Disaster is a goofy parody of the big-screen calamities, fashion, and music that made the 1970s so easy to spoof. Its 1979, and New Yorks hottest A-listers are lining up for the opening of a floating casino and discotheque. What begins as a night of boogie fever quickly changes to panic as the ship succumbs to multiple disasters, such as earthquakes, tidal waves and infernos. As the night turns into day, everyone struggles to survive and, quite possibly, repair the love that theyve lost or at least escape the killer rats.As one of the nations largest, and Ohios only professional dinner theatre, La Comedia produces seven Broadway-style shows annually and serves a delicious buffet before each performance. La Comedia has been the regions greatest value in live theatre since 1975. With seating for over 600, the theatre is large enough to produce first class productions, and small enough to provide an intimate atmosphere appropriate for any occasion.
