Theatre Three presents the classic Broadway comedy LIGHT UP THE SKY by Moss Hart, running March 10 - April 3, 2016. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

LIGHT UP THE SKY follows the opening night plight of a Broadway play's out-of-town tryout in Boston. Everyone's there in a posh hotel suite: the young playwright, the leading lady, her acid-tongued mother who has seen it all, the emotional director, the producer and his wife, and a retired ice skating star. Moss Hart's love and knowledge of Broadway show business whipped up this hilarious story of ambition, hope, hubris, and triumph, in an unforgettable, perfect American comedy.

LIGHT UP THE SKY is directed by Doug Miller, featuring a cast of Billy Betsill (William H. Gallegher, Orson the Parrot, Max, others), Jessica Cavanagh(Frances Black), David Coffee (Sidney Black), Doug Fowler (Owen Turner), Bob Hess (Carleton Fitzgerald), Lydia Mackay (Irene Livingston), Seth Monhollon (Peter Sloan), Kevin Moore (William H. Gallegher, Sven, Max, others), Ivy Opdyke (Stella Livingston), Shawn Patrello (Tyler Rayburn) and Samantha Whitbeck (Miss Lowell).

Performances run: Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays - Saturdays at 8:00 p.m.; Sundays at 2:30 p.m.; Sunday Evening Performances: March 13 & March 27 at 7:30 p.m. Hooky Matinee: Wednesday, March 23 at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Matinee: April 2 at 2:30 *only one Saturday matinee per show. Press Opening: Monday, March 14 at 7:30pm on the The Norma Young Arena Stage at Theatre Three Dallas, 2800 Routh Street, Ste #168, Dallas, TX.
