Joan Shepard Comes to The Ivoryton Playhouse 6/21
On Monday, June 21st at 7pm , the Ivoryton Playhouse is honored to welcome back for one night only, the Grande Dame of the Ivoryton stage - Joan Shepard.
Joan will be performing her one woman show "Confessions of Old Lady #2" - a wise and funny and wonderfully touching piece about her life on stage. Beginning when Joan was a child evacuated from England at the start of the war, the show charts her fascinating career as a child actor on Broadway to her recent starring role as a grandmother! With some hilarious musical moments as well as some poignant melodies, this intimate look at a venerable show business career is a theatrical gem. If you were a fan of River Rep or if this is your first time in Ivoryton, you won't want to miss this night.
The show will be followed by a talk-back with Ms. Shepard and a reception.
