Columbus Children's Theatre will present the Advanced Performance Academy production of Shrek The Musical JR. July 6-16 at the Park Street Theatre located at 512 Park Street. This production is directed by Ryan Scarlata. This production is performed by the Junior Ensemble (Ages 11-14) of the Advanced Performance Academy.

The Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University has received two awards from the National Endowment for the Arts in its second round of funding for fiscal year 2017. The Wex is the only organization in Ohio to receive grants in two separate categories, totaling $60,000-a level of support to Ohio institutions second only to that received by the Ohio Arts Council.

On July 20 and 21, the Ohio returns to its roots with the CAPA Summer Movie Series presentation of silent film The Freshman starring Harold Lloyd.

Guest conducted by Stuart Chafetz and Larry Baird, the Columbus Symphony presents Three Dog Night on Saturday, July 22, at the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion in the Columbus Commons (160 S. High St.). Gates open at 6pm. The concert begins at 8pm.

Join us in the park! Curtain Players is pleased to present Ara Vito's ALICE: A variation on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland in partnership with Westerville Parks & Recreation. Alice: A Variation on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland is a new take on Carroll's classic tales crafting a story of a young girl named Alice Pleasance Liddell and the relationship she develops with Charles Dodgson (alias Lewis Carroll). Overcoming her parents' stifling indifference, Alice discovers her creativity through adventures on the other side of the looking glass, conquering her fears as she approaches a vision of her true self.  The play is framed within a conversation between Carroll and Liddell, who was the inspiration for the fictional Alice character. Performances run June 15th thru 24 th at 8:00 pm.  Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets as it's all free lawn seating (donations accepted). Parking will be available in the park along Alum Park Drive (accessible from W.
