Standing Room Only to Present THE FANTASTICKS, 6/5-14

Standing Room Only Theatre Company is staged June 5-14, 2015 in the Shedd Theatre at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.

The Fantasticks, opens on June 5 running through June 14, 2015, a musical with music by Harvey Schmidt with lyrics and book by Tom Jones; based on Les Romaneques by Edmond Rostand. This is a comical romance about two neighboring families who stage a feud to contrive a marriage between their children. All does not go well in this comic conspiracy, and each character must come to terms with reality of their actions in the light of day. This classic musical feature songs such as Try to Remember, They Were You and Soon It's Gonna Rain has been delighting audiences for 55 years!

The Fantasticks is directed by Theatre Roundtable award winner Steve Black. The cast includes Chris Rusen (El Gallo), Sharon Kibe (Luisa), Lake Wilburn (Matt), Ron Nocks (Hucklebee), Scott Wilson (Bellomy), Sileye Ndongo (Henry), David Johnson (Mortimer) and Alex Lanier (The Mute), music directed by Zac DelMonte and choreographed by Kati Serbu.

The Fantasticks show times and dates are 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5; 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6; 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 7; 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12; 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13; and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14. Tickets for all shows are $21 for adults, $18 for veterans and for senior citizens (55+), $16 for SRO members, $12 for students.
