The PNC Arts Alive All Access web site launched this week, making $5 tickets available to students ages 13-18 for a wide variety of performing arts events in Columbus. All Access is a student ticket discount program designed to make the arts affordable and accessible. The PNC Arts Alive All Access program is funded by a grant from PNC Arts Alive, a three-year, $1.5 million initiative of The PNC Foundation that supports visual and performing arts groups with the goal of increasing arts access and engagement in new and innovative ways.

“By helping to make the arts more accessible and affordable for students, we hope to introduce the next generation of concertgoers, theatergoers, artists, and patrons of the arts to the wealth of quality arts opportunities happening in their own hometown,” said Michael Gonsiorowski, PNC regional president for central Ohio. “A thriving arts community contributes to the economic success of central Ohio, and we encourage our students to take advantage of the rich cultural experiences offered by the participating organizations.”

“The Columbus arts community is fortunate and grateful to have a partner as dedicated as PNC,” stated Bill Conner, President of CAPA. “With their support of this program for young people, they are positively affecting the future landscape of arts in Columbus and positioning it for success.”

To date, participating arts organizations include CAPA (which is administering the program), BalletMet, CATCO, Chamber Music Columbus, Columbus Symphony, Jazz Arts Group, King Arts Complex, Opera Columbus, ProMusica, and the Wexner Center for the Arts. How It Works
$5 All Access ticket vouchers can be purchased online or in person and must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the event. There is a limit of two vouchers per purchase. The second voucher can be used by a friend or an adult when accompanying a qualifying student.

To purchase $5 vouchers online, go to www.GoFor5.com. All Access vouchers can be purchased, printed, and should then be brought to the box office on the night of show.

To purchase $5 vouchers in person, go to the Ohio Theatre Ticket Office (39 E. State St.) or a Ticketmaster outlet. (If vouchers for a particular performance are not available at an outlet, it will be noted on the event description.)

To redeem an All Access voucher for a ticket, purchasers should go to the venue’s ticket office 30-90 minutes prior to show time on the day of the performance. The student will need to show proof of age such as a valid student ID, report card, or driver’s license. The voucher will then be exchanged for an actual ticket to the event, selected from the best available seats.

There are a limited number of PNC Arts Alive All Access tickets available per show, so it is recommended to purchase early. The number of All Access tickets available will vary by show and is determined by the presenting arts organization. Please note that discounts cannot be combined.
