CHICAGO Star Usher Announces 'Ladies Only' Fall Tour

By:

Grammy-Award winning superstar Usher has officially announced his plans for the fall -- a "ladies only" tour titled, "One Night Stand." Hitting 14 cities across the country, Usher will perform in "intimate" venues to give fans an opportunity to be up close and personal as goes through all of his hit songs. Kicking-off "One Night Stand" on November 2 in Atlantic City at The Borgata, Usher's fans will finally get a chance to experience what they have been waiting for since his last tour 4 years ago.

The "One Night Stand" tour is Usher's way of personally thanking his female fans who have been with him throughout his glorious journey. The tour will also be in continued support of his latest platinum selling album, HERE I STAND, that features his current steamy single, "Trading Places." Radio, video and internet outlets have been going wild about the sexy video for "Trading Places," which was directed by Chris Robinson and shows the singer playing a role reversal with the leading lady.

When asked why he wanted to perform a "ladies only" tour, Usher simply stated, he "relishes the challenge."

"I feel like I've had such a connection with my audience," said the 30-year-old singer. "I felt like my current album was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So, what better way to get up close and personal with my fans than to make it all women? It will be the best One Night Stand they've ever had!"

On the "One Night Stand" tour, ladies around the country will be catered to, as only Usher can do. Women have always had a soft spot for Usher, and now the "One Night Stand" tour will give them their chance to experience him like they never have before. As with all of Usher's performances, he will not disappoint. From the set design to the live band, from the wardrobe to the song arrangements, he is sure to deliver an amazing show.

Usher has done it all, from award-winning albums to television -- even Broadway (playing Billy Flynn in the Chicago musical).  Over the span of his impressive 14-year career in music, the singer has garnered five Grammys, set chart records, sold well over 35 million albums worldwide and amassed a huge following of fans.

Usher has also evolved into quite the business mogul and is involved in numerous business ventures, which already includes his part ownership in the Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year, he launched a successful men's and women's fragrance line through Elizabeth Arden titled, Usher HE and Usher SHE, which became the #1 selling fragrance in Macy's Stores. On September 15th, he introduced a second line -- UR For Men and UR For Women. Expanding his empire, Usher partnered with Forte Entertainment and is now the owner of six wine restaurants titled, The Grape. A huge opening of a new wine restaurant is being planned for one of Usher's tour stops in Las Vegas, with others to follow next year.
