Part-Time SAT Instructor (starting at $50/hour) - A-List Education

Part-time SAT/ACT Teacher



Are you smart, fun and have the desire to be a great educator? Do you have a flexible schedule and would love to dedicate it to teaching? A-List Education (www.alisteducation.com) is currently hiring part-time instructors to teach SAT/ACT classes throughout NYC.



Details:

• Weekly classes that run 12-16 weeks

• 2 hours on weekdays and 3 hours on weekends

• Classes located in all 5 boroughs

• Full curriculum and training provided (Training Days/Times TBD)

• Instructors are employees and not independent contractors

• Starting Instructor rate: $50/hour

• Training and prep time rate: $15/hour

• Travel reimbursements available for round-trip train fare





Ideal Candidate:

• Good in the classroom

• Experience working with NYC DOE students

• Have a college degree

• Scored at least 1950 on the SAT: 650 or better in ALL sections (Math, Reading, Writing)

• Comfortable with teaching ALL sections of the SAT

• Bilingual: English/Spanish speaking is a plus
