Netherlands Symphony Orchestra was founded in the Dutch cultural center in Enschede, appeared in the 1930s, formerly known as the Dutch East Symphony Orchestra. In 1954, it evolved into a control professional Symphony renamed Overijssel Philharmonic. In 1983 the Ethel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Netherlands Opera Orchestra reorganization, performances of the symphony and opera. In 2011, officially named the Symphony Orchestra of the Netherlands, the English name has been simplified Netherlands Symphony Orchestra. Regiment 70 permanent contract professional musicians, under the command of the home central Willem and guest conductor to lead the genius, 25 sets of performances each year concert programs, also formed a small group of music portfolio String Quartet, Brass Trio.Since 2006, Jan Willem de Vriend served as artistic director and principal conductor of the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra.
