THE BEAUTIFUL CITY PROJECT is back in-person with BROADWAY BLUEGRASS, its annual fundraiser at the beautiful Venus Cabaret on Monday 3/28!

Join Chicago artists Cory Goodrich, Genevieve Thiers, Alexis J Rosten, Kelvin Roston, Jr., Juwon Tyler Perry, Emily Rohm, Ariana Burke, Dara Cameron, Michael Mahler and more, as they take a folksy trip down south. Founder and Artistic Director, David Fiorello, has thoughtfully arranged and directed BROADWAY BLUEGRASS to take some of your favorite songs from musical theatre, and add a little twang. Proceeds go to help fund TBCP for the year's work and continue keeping the mission alive.Complete with raffle items and giveaways, $25 general admission and $75 VIP packages that include premium seating and free gifts, BROADWAY BLUEGRASS is gonna be a stompin' good time.

This is The Beautiful City Project's return to LIVE performances after several high-profile offerings over the pandemic, including one of the first COVID fundraisers in the nation featuring American Idol alums Diana DeGarmo & Ace Young; THE TOP 100 PROJECT, bringing together over 275 Chicago artists to a 100-day straight series of songs; PROJECT MISTLETOE featuring Broadway's Kathy Voytko (The Music Man) & Samantha Pauly (SIX); SONDHEIM LOVE-FEST, featuring the best love songs from the master himself; and their first feature length film INTERSECT, a dance experience set to music of the 90s, covered by Chicago artists.

The Beautiful City Project is committed to using musical theatre as a tool to give back to the Chicago community, intent on building a promising tomorrow for a beautiful city. Cabaret performances highlight a different organization every month, while the mainstage programming of musicals in concert take a community issue head-on, raising awareness and funds to be given directly to an organization in need, making an immediate impact. A city-wide campaign of beautification and positivity will be the hallmark of a project intent on taking real action in our beautiful city.
