Winifred Haun & Dancers will present a fall Open Rehearsal on November 6 at Hubbard St. Dance Center. The company will show excerpts from their newest work, currently titled "Trashed," created in collaboration with renowned Australian circus artist, Emma Serjeant, during a two week residency at Circus Oz, a Melbourne based circus organization. This will be the first public viewing in the US of this work-in-progress.

"Trashed" is a completely new movement tour-de-force that combines Modern Dance with Contemporary Circus to tell the story of how humans have to come to clutter their lives with too much stuff, and how all that stuff keeps us from each other.

This Open Rehearsal will also present a solo choreographed and danced by New York City based dance artist Teresa Fellion of "BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance." There will be a discussion about each artist's work, and their dance making process. Audience members will have a chance to respond, comment and give feedback on the works.

This Open Rehearsal can be seen on Sunday, November 6 at 4:30pm at the Lou Conte Dance Studio at Hubbard St. Dance Center, 1147 W. Jackson, Chicago. Admission is $6 and includes free snacks. Tickets can be purchased on line at BrownPaperTickets.com: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2694230

Street parking is available.
