SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS and ASSASSINS Set for Kokandy Productions' 2014 Season

Kokandy Productions invites you to be part of our 2014 all-musical season, kicking off with the sexy 50's noir SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS in January, and wrapping up with Sondheim's black comedy ASSASSINS in June!

In addition to our cutting-edge mainstage lineup, Kokandy is also offering audiences the unique opportunity to be part of the creative process with our New Musical Staged Reading Series. Come see a staging of a musical in progress, and provide post-show feedback that could help shape the future of the American Musical!

The series opens with the Icarus-inspired FLIGHT (running concurrent with SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS), followed by the modern romance PERPETUAL POSSIBILITY (running concurrent with ASSASSINS). Series shows perform for two nights only, so don't miss out!

Kokandy Productions is also very pleased to announce the appointments of John D. Glover and Allison Hendrix as our first-ever Associate Artistic Directors, overseeing the artistic growth and direction of the company, and inspiring everyone with their vision and passion for musical theater. In addition to their ongoing duties as Associate Artistic Directors, John is also leading off the season as director of our 2014 opener SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS, and Allison is overseeing all aspects of the New Musical Staged Reading Series!
