The Sleeping Beauty cast is finding it hard to sleep these days. Between the excitement of their rehearsals, upcoming performances and their eagerness to help local children in need, this all children cast can hardly wait to take the stage this October. Along with preparing for the show, the children are busy collecting donations of children's sleepwear so that some local children in need will be "Sleeping Beaut-ifully" this winter.

This show will be enjoyed by young and old alike. With this being a young cast of local 6 to 9 year olds, the youngest princes and princesses in the surrounding land will surely be enchanted by the fairytale that will unfold as this all children cast appears on Pheasant Run's Mainstage this October.

The cast of NFT Performing Arts Academy's Fall Musical will be performing a half-hour adaptation of Disney's Sleeping Beauty on Pheasant Run Resort's Mainstage. The show is directed by Tracy Whiteside, Education Manager for NFT Performing Arts Academy. Admission to the Sleeping Beauty performance is free, but donations of NEW stuffed animals, pajamas and pajama socks/slippers in sizes to fit children ages 3 to 12 years old are requested. Donations will be accepted at the door. The donations received will benefit children in Kane and DuPage counties served by Humanitarian Service Project, a local non-profit organization based in Carol Stream. Donations are also being accepted at Humanitarian Service Project, 465 Randy Road, Carol Stream. Additionally, the NFT Academy, also a non-profit organization, accepts cash donations in lieu of admission to provide scholarships to local children who would not otherwise be able to participate in their programs.
