'Friends' Themed Pop Up Bar Opens In November At Replay Lincoln Park
Could there BE a cooler concept for the next pop up bar to hit Chicago? Replay Lincoln Park, 2833 N. Sheffield, will launch a 'Friends' themed experience beginning Friday, November 9, running through Sunday, November 25. Replay will transform itself from Lincoln Park's popular arcade bar into the likes of Monica's apartment, Joey and Chandler's place and of course, Central Perk. Fans of the show will be able to experience the pop up with their own Ross, Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey and Chandler and participate in many themed events this November.
Complete with 90s nostalgia fit for the ultimate throwback photo opportunity, Replay will also offer an extensive list of themed cocktails for 'Friends' fans to add to the experience. The bar will host themed events during the pop up's run such as the "Moist Maker Turkey Sandwich Sunday Funday" on Sunday, November 11 from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m., and a foosball tournament featuring a $100 prize on Wednesday, November 14 at 7 p.m. Fans can test their knowledge with 'Friends' trivia hosted daily from Thursday, November 15 through Monday, November 19. Every Wednesday night in November the bar will host '90s karaoke for guests to enjoy, as well as the ultimate 90s dance party on November 21. "The one on the Last Night" will offer fans the chance to play "cups" with the bartender to win shots on Sunday, November 11, 18 and 25.
Replay offers guests over 60 free vintage arcade games, including pinball, air hockey and more. They also have skeeball and billiards. With no cover or tokens needed, Replay invites guests for great fun 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday - Thursday, Friday 3 p.m. - 2 a.m., 12 p.m. - 3 a.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. - 2 a.m. Sunday.
