An up-close view of one man's journey from hero to tyrant to outcast, and the devastating consequences of his high-stakes pursuit of greatness with no regard for the cost.
True to Shakespeare's language, but staged in a contemporary urban setting, this production of Macbeth brings the story boldly into context for today's audiences - replacing the battle for the crown of Scotland with a present-day world of gangs, guns and societal concerns including violence, human trafficking and homelessness.
