Bailiwick Holds 'MAKE US AN OFFER" Clearance Sale

Friday, January 2 from Noon to 5 p.m.


Because producing 15 years of great theater in the same space leaves a lot of great memories and a lot of great stuff, Bailiwick will hold a final 'MAKE US AN OFFER" rummage and clearance sale on Friday, January 2 from noon to 5 p.m. in the Bailiwick Arts Center, 1229 West Belmont.

Artistic Director David Zak explained "We are asking people to make a $1 donation in support of the theater to enter the sale, and then everything left in the building will be for sale on a 'MAKE US AN OFFER' basis.  From a quarter to a dollar to a C-Spot – we will realistic offers. 

What is left you might wonder?  A partial list would include:

-         office supplies of all kinds, book cases and books, a chalice and a sled, fans and heaters, shoes and boots, office furniture, lamps, props and costumes, a dozen lost and found umbrellas, an office safe, chairs and tables, lots of binders, scripts, cds, picture frames, hair dryers and irons, benches and boxes, trunks and tea trays, hats and hip boots, bulletin boards, vases and vices, and everything in between.

"We have a lot of unique and fun material, as well as goods used to run a business, and it hope it will all find a good home," says Zak.

All funds will support future projects of the Bailiwick, which will produce its 2009 Pride Series in the 160-seat Hoover-Leppen Theater at the Center on Halsted in July and August 2009.

(And of course this sale will not include items being used in THE CHRISTMAS SCHOONER which has had a smashing run and will close on Sunday, January 4.)
