Theatre Harrisburg to Launch 88th Season with BLEACHER BUMS, Begin. 9/6
Theatre Harrisburg opens its 88th season with the hilarious baseball comedy BLEACHER BUMS at the Krevsky Production Center. Opening Friday, September 6, other performances are scheduled for September 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Show times are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are priced at $25 except Wednesday, September 11 when all seats are only $15. Conceived by Joe Mantegna and written by The Organic Theatre Company, BLEACHER BUMS celebrates the great American pastime by spending a summer afternoon with a zany bunch of Cubs fans at Chicago's Wrigley Field. Most of them have been gathering there for years and know - but don't necessarily like - each other. This humorous salute to baseball also features special surprises and even some audience participation.
The cast of Theatre Harrisburg's production of BLEACHER BUMS includes Anthony Ariano, Miranda Baldys, Ray Enders, Brandon Fuller, Rob Kopko, Beth McIntosh, Lily Peifer, Glen Smith, Colin York, Bob York and Alex Winnick. Making his Theatre Harrisburg debut in the director's chair is Dan Burke.
