The Board of Directors and Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, are excited to present Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors.

One hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends, and a soccer stadium filled with screaming fans. What could possibly go wrong? It's 1930s Paris and the stage is set for the concert of the century-as long as producer Henry Saunders can keep his Italian superstar and his hot-blooded wife from causing runaway chaos. This hilarious series of mishaps guarantees an uproarious ride, full of mistaken identities, bedroom hijinks, and madcap delight that gives new meaning to the phrase "the show must go on".

The cast features Sean Magnacca as Tito, Frank Franconeri (Baskerville) as Saunders, Jill Anthony as Maria, and Karen Querns Dupper Tatiana Racon, with Ricky Marchese as Carlo and Morgan Sichler as Mimi, both fresh off the stage from Seussical the Musical, and C.J. Doss, in his second cabaret show of the season, as Max.

A Comedy of Tenors is written by Ken Ludwig, author of Lend Me a Tenor, Leading Ladies, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery and many more american comedies. Millbrook welcomes Broadway actor turned director Jimmy Smagula for his Millbrook directing debut. Mr. Smagula has been seen on Broadway in the original company of The Full Monty, also appeared on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliot, and The Little Mermaid to name a few. The creative team includes Set Design by Nicholas Schwartz, Costume Design by Jesse R. Shipley, Lighting Design by Ethan Vail, Props Design by Savannah Draper, and Sound Design by Damien Figueras.

Don't miss this hilarious sequel to the Tony Award-winning Lend Me a Tenor, playing at the Millbrook Playhouse in the Poorman Cabaret for three weekends, July 14-16, July 19-22, and July 26-29 at 7:30pm with matinees Wednesday, July 19 and July 26, and Sunday July 23 at 2:00pm.
