Hershey Community Chorus to Host Registration and Rehearsals, 8/18
The Hershey Community Chorus will begin registration and rehearsals on Monday evening, August 18, 2014, at the Zion Lutheran Church, 100 W. Main Street, Hummelstown. Registration will begin at 6:30 with rehearsal following from 7 PM until 9 PM. Registrations will also be held on Monday, August 25, 2014, also starting at 6:30 with rehearsal following. The registration fee is $30.
The Hershey Community Chorus is a non-audition group and welcomes all voice parts. Rehearsals are held each Monday evening at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hummelstown. This year the Chorus will be holding an afternoon concert along with an evening concert at the Antique Automobile Club Museum of Hershey on Sunday, December 7, 2014. The Hershey Community Chorus will present "WineDineSing" on Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 5 PM until 8:00 PM, at Cassel Vineyards of Hershey, located at 80 Shetland Drive, Hummelstown. Rain date will be Sunday, September 7th at the same time. Featured at this event will be a chicken Bar-B-Que, a wine tasting of Cassel Vineyard Wines, and a Cabaret-style entertainment featuring members of The Hershey Community Chorus.
Admission is $20.00 in advance and $22.00 the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased by calling 508-4400 or emailing your request to info@HersheyCommunityChorus.org. Reservations are requested. Cassel wines by the glass or bottle will be available to enjoy with your Chicken Bar-B-Que. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the festivities. No outside alcohol is permitted.
