Gamut Theatre Group Presents William Shakespeare's PERICLES, PRINCE OF TYRE

Gamut Theatre Group's Harrisburg Shakespeare Company opens their 26th season with William Shakespeare's Pericles, Prince of Tyre on November 3, 2018 at Gamut Theatre in downtown Harrisburg.

After unraveling a deadly secret, Pericles, the Prince of Tyre, must flee his homeland to save his life from the wrath of a tyrannous king. What follows is an epic and swashbuckling tale spanning the globe as our hero navigates danger, love, birth, and death (with just a dash of piracy)! Both profoundly moving and refreshingly funny, Pericles, Prince of Tyre touches on themes very close to home: separated families, refugees, speaking truth to power, and the belief that miracles can and will happen. Join us for our fresh, diverse, and engaging take on Shakespeare's greatest tale of adventure.

Pericles, Prince of Tyre opens on November 3, 2018 in the 220 - seat Select Medical Mainstage at Gamut Theatre located at 15 N. 4th Street in downtown Harrisburg. The box office and bar will open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Following the opening night performance, a reception will be held where guests can meet and mingle with the director, cast and crew in Gamut's beautiful Capital Blue Lobby while enjoying delicious food and complimentary beer and wine supplied by Peggy's Pub.

Pericles, Prince of Tyre will continue through November 25, 2018 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets to the performance are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors/military, and $15 for students.
