The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is proud to present the royal production of The Emperor's New Clothes, April 28 through May 19. Join Prince Marcus and friends as he takes the throne to become King!

The imaginative creators of Seussical, Lynn Ahrens and Stephan Flaherty, bring one of Han's Christian Andersen's most beloved tales to life in The Emperor's New Clothes.

Fourteen-year-old Emperor Marcus the Third is nervous to take the throne. Deciding that he can only gain confidence by dressing in the finest attire, Marcus commands his Royal Clothes maker to fashion him in the most royal wardrobe. Taking advantage of Marcus' uncertainty and immaturity, a swindler promises to make magic clothes that are "invisible to fool, liars, and anyone you should ignore," for a large and hefty price. Only Arno, the simple-hearted mop boy, can help Marcus out of this royal mess and teach him an important lesson about outward appearance. This winsome musical is a crowd-pleaser for all ages.

The cast of The Emperor's New Clothes in alphabetical order are; Melissa Blatherwick (Deena, Villager), Randall Frizado (William, Villager), Donovan Hoffer (Swindler, Villager), Brendan Massar (Marcus), Austin Nedrow (Arno, Villager).

The creative team for the production includes Marc Robin (Fulton's Executive Artistic Producer), Andrew Kindig (Director/Choreographer), Jonathan Lefever (Musical Director), Sean Cox (Scenic Designer), Katie Knudson (Lighting Designer), Erinne Lawlor (Costume Designer), Anthony Lascoskie, Jr. (Wig and Makeup Designer), Matthew Moran (Sound Designer), Katelin Walsko (Props Designer), Bob Cline (Casting Director), Julie Keough (Rehearsal Stage Manager), and Timothy Markus (Production Stage Manager).
