Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre announces its 28th season filled with classics such as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, The Music Man andCrazy for You. This season also includes the family fun filled show based on the DreamWorks film with everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek!

Dutch Apple's 2014 season includes eight main stage productions, and four children's shows. Season subscription renewals are now on sale and individual tickets go on sale July 8, 2013.

HONKY TONK ANGELS (December 30, 2013- February 8, 2014)

Romance, husband trouble, independence and a little gospel thrown in. Featuring over 30 great songs including Stand By Your Man, Coal Miner's Daughter, Amazing Grace, Fancy, Rocky Top, Almost Persuaded, I Will Always Love You, Harper Valley PTA, I'll Fly Away and more.

CAUGHT IN THE NET (February 13 - March 22, 2014)

Two-timing taxi driver John Smith is back with a new problem! His teenage children, a girl from one family and a boy from the other, fall in love over the internet. When they decide to meet in person, John's already hectic life shifts into high gear as he tries to keep his double life a secret. (PG-13)

SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (March 27 - May 11, 2014)

Goin' courtin' has never been so much rip-roarin' fun. Adam, the oldest brother, sets out for town to bring back a wife that can take care of his family. He meets Millie at the local café and asks her to marry him. But he fails to mention all his brothers at home. After her discovery, she sets out to make the other brothers the most eligible bachelors around.

SHREK (May 15 - June 21, 2014)

It's part romance, part twisted fairytale and fun for everyone! Things get ugly when an unseemly ogre shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won't shut up, a villain with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairytale misfits, and you've got a mess that calls for a real hero...Shrek.

THE MUSIC MAN (June 26 - August 9, 2014)

March right up to see the All- American family hiT. Fast-talking Harold Hill plans to swindle the unsuspecting townspeople and skip town with the loot, but loses his heart to the librarian instead. With barbershop quartets and patriotic marches, it's a heartfelt look at hometown America. Includes76 Trombones, 'Til There Was You, Wells Fargo Wagon, There's Trouble in River City and more.

HAIRPSRAY (August 14 - September 20, 2014)

It's 1962 in Baltimore with teens and sock hops and the ultimate feel-good family show piled high with laughter and romance. Tracy is a big girl with big hair, a big heart and a big passion to dance. Features Good Morning Baltimore, It Takes Two, You Can't Stop the Beat, and the title song,Hairspray. Winner of 8 Tony Awards!

CRAZY FOR YOU (September 25 - November 8, 2014)

Who could ask for anything more in a musical extravaganza? This high-energy comedy of mistaken identities, plot twists, fabulous costumes, dances, and Gershwin music is classic. Memorable tunes include I Can't Be Bothered Now, I Got Rhythm, They Can't Take That Away From Me, Embraceable You and Someone to Watch Over Me.

A WONDERFUL LIFE (November 13 - December 31, 2014)

Frank Capra's film classic has been brought to vibrant color. The story of George Bailey and his wonderful life in Bedford Falls, remains a timeless fable of dreams and love as he finds out what life would have been like without him thanks to some help from Clarence, Angel second-class. This uplifting show for the whole family celebrates the innate goodness in all of us.

Performances are Tuesday through Saturday evenings with selected matinees and Sunday twilights. Ticket prices for dinner and show tickets are$49 - $55; limited show only seats are $32 and students ages 13-18 are just $23 and children ages 3 -12 are only $19 for dinner and show. Group ticketsare available for parties of 16 or more.
