Andrew Sussman, Ken Jankura & More Among Arts Events in Waynesboro This Weekend
Destination ARTS! activities continue in Waynesboro, PA, with live music every weekend, and multiple events and artist demonstrations scheduled throughout December at Gallery 50 and 42 West Arts Co-op.
Today and tomorrow, December 13 and 14 will feature Andrew Sussman and Ken Jankura (jazz), Steve Nevada ("Meet the Artist"), and Tom McFarland, Patric Schlee, and Jerry Kowallis (songs of the season). Friday, December 13
5 - 8 pm - Andrew Sussman (piano) and Ken Jankura (bass and vocals). Jazz - at Gallery 50.
5 - 8 pm - Earthsong Ensemble. Original improvisational music - at 42 West ARTS
Saturday, December 14
2 - 4 pm - "Meet the Artist" Steven Nevada, impressionistic painter, will be in Gallery 50. A reception with wine and light refreshments will be provided, and several paintings will be available for sale for one day only.
3 - 6 pm - Tom McFarland (vocals and guitar), Patric Schlee (percussion and flute). Jerry Kowallis (vocals) will join them at 4 pm. Christmas and holiday music - 42 West ARTS
Event locations are: Gallery 50, 50 West Main St. and 42 West ARTS and 42 West Main St., Waynesboro, PA. Additional activities may take place at the Contemporary School of the Arts & Gallery, 10 East Main St., and the Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro, 13 South Church St.
