Bristol Riverside Theatre explores the Sounds of Silence as the Guthrie Brothers present Scarborough Fair: A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel on July 26-30. From their mesmerizing rendition of "The Sound of Silence" to their playful version of "Cecilia," the Guthrie Brothers take audiences on a journey of one of the world's most recognized folk rock duos. Through songs, stories and trivia, Jeb and Jock Guthrie blend their rich voices together to weave an enjoyable tapestry that leaves audience members falling in love again with the music of Simon and Garfunkel. The combination of two guitars, two vocals and two brothers combine to give this Simon and Garfunkel tribute startling authenticity.

Performances are Wednesday, July 26 at 2:00PM and 7:30PM , Thursday, July 27 at 7:30PM, Friday, July 28 at 8:00PM, Saturday, July 29 at 2:00 and 8:00 PM, and Sunday, July 30 at 3:00 PM. Tickets starting at $30 are available by visiting brtstage.org or calling the BRT Box Office at 215-785-0100. Bristol Riverside Theatre is located at 120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA.

"We knew the first time we heard a Simon and Garfunkel song that we had an almost spiritual connection to it," said Jock Guthrie. "Our voices blended effortlessly into that S&G Signature Sound, and since our first performance we have worked to perfect our tribute to these two amazing artists."

Brothers Jed and Jock Guthrie have been playing and performing together since childhood in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Their original music received national attention with the release of their debut album, The Guthrie Brothers, garnering extensive airplay on both Americana and country radio stations. The album was re-released last year and can be heard on all the major digital music distribution systems including iTunes, Rhapsody, and Napster.

Since 1986, BRT has continued to bring critically acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County.
