Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Gay at Producers’ Club Theaters

Jo DiNozzi

Jo DiNozzi is a Director, Producer, Actress, Voice Actress, Audiobook Narrator, Fight Director, and Stage Combat Choreographer. She is also a transgender advocate and activist as well as the head Artistic Director, President, and CEO of A Sketch of New York Productions Inc. As an actress she has appeared in such New York City stage shows as Lady Macbeth, Behind Glass Walls: The Anxiety Plays, Satire Off Broadway, Breakdown, Theophany, Balm In Gilead, The First Disgrace, Something Outrageous, and Much Ado About Nothing. She may be found on the Renaissance Faire circuit performing her independent musical/stage combat act: Captain Frances Drake, the Pirate Queen. However this show marks her stage debut portraying a character of her actual gender. She is also the founder of nonprofit theater company A Sketch of New York Productions, Inc. and has served as their CEO, President, Artistic Director, and in-house Fight Director since their inception in 2016. And she is proud to be the world's first openly transgender Fight Director with credits in Broadway shows. Outside of theater, she is the co-leader of the transgender advocacy and education activism group, TQVoices.

David Malinsky

David Malinsky is a NYC-based non-union performer, producer and playwright who has been working on and off in various theatre and film projects in the city since 2013. He studied Theatre and History at Middlebury College and the University of York, England. In 2013-14, he performed his self-researched and written one-man play about American Revolutionary theatre, Playing At War. In 2018-19 he performed as the lead in Space Race at Dixon Place in Lower Manhattan. Dave’s film credits include Abbey Singer/Songwriter (Onur Tukel, director), Tormenting the Hen (Theodore Collatos, director), A Moderate Folly by Wilson Mbiavanga, Seed (Oliver Irving, director) and Knights of Night (Drew Weiss, director). David has been producing films since 2021, including Poundcake (Onur Tukel, director) and The Battle of Henry Johnson (Harrison Stengle, director). David has recently been focusing on web video, stand up and cabaret performance.

Allison Sonson

Allison Sonson is an actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Hockessin, Delaware, she began acting at the age of five. Allison is a recent graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio’s Acting Conservatory, where she trained in the Meisner Technique. She has appeared in many New York-based short films, and most notably the feature, My Submission, which premiered in New York in January 2026. Allison is also a writer and artistic collaborator on an upcoming series and her one-woman show currently in development. This marks her New York stage debut.

Ryan Thomas

Ryan Thomas (they/them) is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Ryan began performing at a young age and has since appeared in over 35 productions. Their theater credits include work with the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Cincinnati Actor’s Studio and Academy (CASA), Cincinnati Landmark Productions, and SCAD. Ryan also originated the role of the Grasshopper in Musical Theatre International’s first cast of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR. Ryan is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (BFA, Performing Arts, 2022). Living now in NYC, their on-screen work includes featured appearances in Devil Wears Prada 2, Happy Gilmore 2, HBO’s And Just Like That…, Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest, and FX’s The Beauty. In addition to acting, Ryan is a published editorial and runway model, trained by Miss J Alexander, with features in Vogue Italia, American Vogue, Style Cruze, and Malvie Magazine.

Bess Miller*

Bess Miller (they/them) is an NYC-based actor, writer and teaching artist. Selected credits include the rolling world premiere of Jaqueline Goldfinger’s one person show Backwards Forwards Back at Centenary Stage Co, Hamlet in Hamlet and Birdie in The Little Foxes at Hudson Theatre Works, Caliban in The Tempest with Bergen County Shakespeare, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Sheen Center, Emily in Double Blind on Theatre Row and Ashley in Brett and Ashley at New Perspectives Theatre Company. Bess also spent several years in Chicago improvising at iO-Chicago, The Playground Theatre and on Second City TC’s musical improv team Infinite Sundaes. Harrison Stengle

Harrison Stengle is a producer, playwright and director. Back from the trenches, Harrison has completed his first feature film The Battle of Henry Johnson which is in the film festival circuit. His previous show in NYC was his production of Sword of the Unicorn at Theatre for a New City. Harrison has directed many theatrical productions in the Philadelphia area including but not limited to, Wolfhead Hamlet, A Literal Doll House, The Great Gatsby, and 12th Night. Harrison is currently working on an art installation entitled Gilda’s Picture Palace which will be featured at Wasteland Weekend 2026. Harrison hopes  to emphasize, “The vital importance of being gay.”
