Photo Flash: The Carriage House Players Proudly Present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM By William Shakespeare

By: Jun. 28, 2018

The Carriage House Players will open the Vanderbilt's 30th annual Summer Shakespeare Festival with the Bard's beloved comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream on Friday, June 29, at 8:00 p.m. The play runs through July 29. (Wednesday's and Fridays at 8 pm and Sunday's at 7 pm, excluding July 4th and 8th).

Shakespeare's timeless story of love gone awry, complete with mischievous fairies and bumbling actors, will create a hilarious evening of theater filled with charm, magic, and grand romantic gestures, the kind of things everyone wants from a warm summer evening.

The Carriage House Players perform in the beautiful Vanderbilt Mansion Courtyard, enhanced by the graceful backdrop of century-old Spanish-Revival architecture. Theater-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy dinner before the show.

Tickets $15. Call 516-557-1207 for more info. To purchase tickets, visit our website carriagehouseplayers.org
