Zak Resnick, Adrienne Warren & More Set for Joey Contreras Concert at Rockwood Music Hall Tonight
Stars from the Broadway musicals Bring It On, Mamma Mia!, Spring Awakening, HAIR and Godspell join musical pop songwriter, Joey Contreras at Rockwood Music Hall tonight, August 4th at 9PM. The award-winning songwriter will be premiering new tunes from his upcoming album, Young Kind of Love, in an evening that promises stories of love, heartbreak, and big dreams set to a backdrop of piano-driven pop and addictive hooks.
Audiences can expect performances by Adrienne Warren (Bring It On), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Hannah Elless (Godspell), Mary Kate Morrissey (Hair National Tour), Julia Mattison (Godspell) and Emily Kay Shrader.
Currently the first Artist-in-Residence for Broadway Dreams Foundation, Joey has played to sold out crowds at Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center, (le) Poisson Rouge and the Manhattan Center. His first album, Love Me, Love Me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras is available on iTunes and CDBaby.com.
