"Songs Are Like Friends II" will feature musical selections from composers including Sheldon Harnick, Maltby & Shire, Craig Carnelia, and Bob Ost.

Vickie Phillips continues to be a familiar face on the Manhattan cabaret scene, as an award-winning singer and actress. She has been praised by the New York Times as "a performer who creates her own viable interpretation." Her off-Broadway credits include leading roles in Merry-Go-Round, A Safe Light, Far Side of the Moon, Musically Speaking, and Together with Music.

She performed to standing-room-only audiences in concerts at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Her very first cabaret show received the New York Back Stage Bistro Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Cabaret." Ms. Phillips went on to be nominated for a MAC Award for her concept and performance in the musical revueAmerican Cabaret: European Roots.

Creating her role in the original Bob Ost cabaret revue Love and Laughter, she garnered praise from reviewers in Back Stage, Variety and the New York Post. Her show A Musical Journey: The Songs Of Brel, Weill, Aznavour & Blau, played the Queen's Theater on the Park, at Mama's, The Creative Place Theater, and the 78th Street Theater Lab. She has also gained raves at the Midtown International Festival.

Bob Ost, director, has been nominated for MAC Awards for "Best Special Material" for "A Quiet Little Christmas," "Best Revue" for "Not Quite What You Expected," and "Best CD" for "Everybody's Gettin' into the Act." He and Vickie won an OOBR Award for "Songs Are Like Friends." Bob also won two national competitions for his musical "Finale!" He has been the finalist in the O'Neill Musical Conference and written an Off-Broadway revue called "Everybody's Gettin' Into the Act." He has written cabaret revues and five published Christmas songs. His CDs include "A Special Place: Songs from the Heart" with Heather MacRae, Rebecca Luker, Alice Ripley, Lillias White and others. Pianist/Arranger/Conductor/SingerSongwriter Tracy Stark is a 6-time MAC Award winner in the categories of Piano Bar Entertainer (2008. 2009), Music Director (2009, 2010, 2012), and Song of the Year (2011). She is also a Bistro Award winner for Musical Direction, and winner of the Dottie Burman Songwriter of the Year Award.
