Ventriloquist and comedian April Brucker (The Today Show, Rachael Ray, My Strange Addiction, Project Greenlight Greenie Award Nominee), is hosting called Pulling Strings: A Night of Ventriloquism and Puppetry, May 17, 2015 at 8 pm at Don't Tell Mama NYC343 W. 46 st.

The event will feature ventriloquists and puppeteers from around the city. The line up includes Kristen Michelle (Nunsense Off-Broadway and active member of the New York Dolls), Nigel "Docta Gel" Dunkley (Apollo Theatre, Lincoln Center, Gawker Video "Ventriloquist Picks Up Girl") and many others.

Proceeds from the event will go to fund Brucker's short film Afraid of the Light, a piece starring puppets that provides non-violent solutions for children in reaction to bullies. For more on April and the event please go to www.aprilbrucker.com
