The Village Gate's Old Fashioned Piano Party will be celebrating The 65th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 12th starting at 7pm! Come watch the awards in style. Admission is free and it will be a night full of drinking games, prizes, and our popular open mic to follow the telecast!

This fast growing open mic night is highly recommended for show-tune lovers, Broadway enthusiasts, "Gleeks", fans of Charles Nelson Reilly, and anyone who ever wanted to do their own dream ballet; showcasing new composers and some of Broadway and Off-Broadway's best each week. Join us at the site of the old Village Gate - a nightclub/theater that opened in the late 50's and premiered a number of Off-Broadway shows, including Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, in 1968!

Hosted by ultimate theater nerd Kevin Michael Murphy(If It Only Even Runs a Minute, Craig Stevens Guide to Making it on Broadway), with Caleb Hoyer on the keys. If you're not sure what to sing they've got over 250 scores on hand to choose from...and a bar to keep a drink in your hand!

The Village Gate's Old Fashioned Piano Party happens every Sunday night at the Gallery Bar at (Le) Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, NYC

(le) Poisson Rouge is a 21+ venue, admission for this event is free.
