Tessa Souter Appearing at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola Shows
By: BWW News Desk
Tessa Souter is a London-born, Harlem-based Anglo-Trinidadian vocalist and composer named "Rising Star" for two consecutive years in the DownBeatCritics' Poll. She performs transformative arrangements of a delightfully eclectic repertoire. Whether Souter is interpreting songs by The Beatles, Kenny Barron, Chopin, Benny Carter, Cream, Debussy, or original numbers with cross-continental influences, she has a distinctive voice and a mature, emotionally resonant dedication to melody. Souter always brings a great band with her, and we're thrilled to have her back at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola for the first time since 2013.
