Brooklyn band Sky-Pony (fronted by Tony nominee Lauren Worsham of Broadway's A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) is known for shows that bridge the gap between rock and theater.

At Joe's Pub on January 19, they'll combine these interests with special show that includes a cavalcade of luminaries from the world of Broadway. Each will take guest lead singer duties on a different Sky-Pony song, alongside Lauren. Special guests include Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Hand to God, 9 to 5), Margo Seibert (Rocky, Tamar of the River), Alli Mauzey (Wicked, Hairspray), Lisa O'Hare (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Catherine Walker (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) and Tony winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening).

It all happens on Monday January 19 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street). Doors at 6pm, show at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20. More info and advance tickets available at http://publictheater.org/en/Tickets/Calendar/PlayDetailsCollection/Joes-Pub/2015/S/Sky-Pony/. The show is all ages.

Sky-Pony (pictured) is "an energetic Brooklyn indie band with a penchant for theatrical stagings and choreography" (New York Times). They incorporate costumes, projections, and performance art elements into their high-energy live shows. Their discography includes two EPs: Say You Love Me Like You Mean It and Raptured Live. Led by Tony nominated singer/actress Lauren Worsham and her Obie Award winning husband Kyle Jarrow, Sky-Pony also features the talents of Kevin Wunderlich, Lizzie O'Hara, Kristine Piacentile, Jessi Suzuki, Perry Silver, Eric Day and David Blasher. The Wall Street Journal describes Sky-Pony as "a 1960s girl group on crack - tight, fierce, hilarious and out of their minds." More info on the band at http://www.sky-pony.com.
