FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Shona White in The Great 'White' Way on 1st August 2018.

Shona White, West End star of MAMMA MIA!, Wicked and Chess makes her Feinstein's/54 Below debut in an exclusive performance starting at 9:30pm; doors open at 8:45pm.

The intimate evening will see the Scottish songstress take the audience on a musical journey, sharing the songs that have shaped her story so far. Featuring numbers from Wicked and Chess via London's 'Swinging Sixties', ABBA and Scottish Folk.

The news follows the announcement that Shona will be starring in the International Tour of MAMMA MIA! playing the principal role of Donna Sheridan. The tour opened in the UK on 31st May 2018 and Shona will perform her exclusive solo show en route to Toronto, Canada.

Shona said "I am very excited to be making my New York cabaret debut at the world famous Feinstein's/54 Below. It's going to be a busy year but this night will, without a doubt, be one of the highlights!"

Shona will be joined by the dazzling talents of friends old and new, from Broadway and beyond! The first star guest to be announced is the two-time Drama Desk Award nominated actress, singer and impressionist Christina Bianco. She will also be joined by 54 Below regular performer Philippa Lynas.

Shona White in The Great 'White' Way plays Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on 1st August 2018. Tickets are priced between $30-$65 and there is a $25 food and beverage minimum spend. A Scottish native, Shona trained at The Royal Academy of Music in London where she has recently been made an Associate. During her time at the Academy she won the coveted Ronald White Prize for Acting Through Song.

An advocate for new writing, Shona recently performed at Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Other Palace, celebrating new musical theatre as part of Aria Entertainment's From Page to Stage Festival. She starred in You Know How to Love Me, a musical concert celebrating the work of Charles Miller and An Evening of Music from the creators of Spring Awakening, Steven Sater & Duncan Sheik.

In May 2018 it was announced that Shona would star in the International Tour of MAMMA MIA! playing the lead role of Donna Sheridan; having previously starred in the London production of the show, Shona is the first actress to have played both the mother and daughter in the smash-hit musical. The show is currently touring the UK before moving overseas in August.

As a well-established leading lady, Shona has had the privilege of playing some of the most sought after, iconic roles in musical theatre such as Elphaba in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria, Éponine in Les Misérables and Florence Vassy in the Award Winning UK Tour of Chess; the actor-musician show directed by Craig Revel Horwood received great critical acclaim and went on to transfer to The Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada. Other theatre includes: Anita in West Side Story, Betty in Shout!, the Olivier Award-winning production of Merrily We Roll Along at The Donmar Warehouse directed by Michael Grandage and Leda Cotton in I Capture the Castle.

In recognition of her contribution to theatre Shona has recently been made Patron of London's Playhouse Theatre where she performed as Magenta/ Usherette in The Rocky Horror Show.

Shona's concert work includes the musical celebration Manhattan Nights in which she played homage to her real life idol, Barbra Streisand. She has performed at Buckingham Palace for The Queen's Jubilee, in concert with Sir Elton John at The Royal Albert Hall, featured as a guest artist on Friday Night Is Music Night for BBC Radio 2 and taken centre stage at The SSE Arena, Wembley in her role of Ambassador for Adoption UK. With a passion for live music in an intimate setting Shona can often be found performing at some of London's most famous Cabaret venues. She has previously entertained audiences at The Pheasantry in Chelsea, Pizza on the Park in Knightsbridge, Lauderdale House in Highgate and both The Hippodrome Casino and Above the Arts in the heart of London's West End. Most recently Shona featured as a guest performer with composer Scott Alan as part of his residency at The Crazy Coqs, Live At Zédel.

Television appearances include: Dancing in the Streets (BBC), Sing With A Star (ITV), Pebble Mill (BBC), The Royal Variety Performance (BBC) and a documentary entitled Broadway Babies for BBC Wales which featured Shona as a finalist in the First Voice of Musical Theatre competition.

Shona's recording credits include: I'll Bring You A Song her debut solo album, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie soundtrack, Meadowlark for the Bolshoi Ballet, Summer Always Comes for Don Black and the original cast recordings of Zipp!, Manhattan Nights, All The Fun Of The Fair and Kevin Hammond & Charles Miller's When Midnight Strikes.
