Performance artist James Jackson, Jr. is back at the East Village burlesque mainstay, Duane Park, at 308 Bowery between Bleecker and Houston Streets (home of the former Bowery Poetry Club) hosting a new monthly event entitled "Last Tuesday...with James Jackson, Jr.," beginning July 30.

Each month, "Last Tuesday..." will host some of the hottest cabaret artists, musicians, and live performances New York City has to offer showcased and sharing the stage with MR. Jackson as host for the evening.

First up will be Wendy Fox (Jekyll and Hyde - B'way, We Will Rock You - Las Vegas, Rent - Nat'l Tour, Sheila's Day - South Africa) bringing her cabaret stage debut to the Duane Park stage. The promise: A night of classic songs from some of jazz music's favorite artists used to intricately weave Ms. Fox's sultry and emotional stories of sex, love, and spirituality into a web from which you'll never want to be untangled.

With a band lead by handsome piano man extraordinaire Elliot Roth, and a story lead with James' unrivaled sass this team has cooked up a brew that is bound to bring Duane Park to it's knees once again.

Admission is free.

RSVP for a table at (212) 732-5555 or via email at duanepark@earthlink.net. Bar seating is also available. Tuesday, 7/30 @ 8PM.
