New York Burlesque Festival Set for Tonight at The Slipper Room

The Annual New York Burlesque Festival is the largest and most acclaimed festival of its kind in the world. It has attracted sold-out crowds since its premiere in 2002. This September marks the 11th year for this celebrated event and the first year the festival has organized a separate Burlesque Bazaar! The Burlesque Bazaar will be held Saturday Sept 28th from Noon-4pm at The Slipper Room and features over a dozen amazing vendors, including; Bettie Page Clothing, Glorious Pasties, Haute Under the Collar and RED Burlesque lipstick! Also there will be a burlesque legends roundtable with stars from the Golden Era of Burlesque, April March, "The First Lady of Burlesque" and Miss Nude World 1975, Tiffany Carter! Also taking place at the Bazaar is a live pin-up shoot with famed burlesque photographer, Don Spiro and over 20 of the festivals stars! This event is FREE to the public.

In addition to The Bazaar, producers, Thirsty Girl & Pontani Productions will once again, serve up 4 nights of glitter and glamour in Gotham, with over 120 eye-popping performances from international leading burlesque and variety entertainers at four of NYC's hottest nightclubs. Bringing together over 2,500 enthusiastic audience members who, in addition to enjoying tassels and tail feathers will be entertained by live music, international DJs, variety and circus performers and boylesque. Each night includes burlesque boutiques, where you can try on custom corsets, peruse pasties, hair ornaments, vintage dresses & lingerie
