NEXT Presents the Music of Salzman and Cunningham, 7/26
NEXT presents the music of Salzman and Cunningham, Tuesday, July 26th at 9:30pm at The Duple (61 Christopher St @ 7th Ave). Tickets are $10 with a reservation ($12 at the door) plus a 2 drink minimum.

Featuring Breanna Bartley, DAVID R. GORDON, JASON GOTAY, MARGARET-ELLEN JEFFREYS, ALICIA KRAKAUER, BRENT LOMAS, ELYSSA BRETTE MACTAS, Christina Morrell, Clinton Roane (THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS), Morgan West, and MATHIEU WHITMAN with Joshua Salzman on the piano.
Joshua Salzman (music) and Ryan Cunningham (book and lyrics) are Drama Desk and MAC Award nominated writers and graduates of the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. Their thesis musical, "I Love You Because", went on to be professionally produced Off-Broadway, earned a Drama Desk nomination for the team, spawned a cast album on PS Classics, and garnered a licensing deal with Theatrical Rights Worldwide, resulting in productions both nationally and internationally. Their new musical, "Next Thing You Know", has been produced by the Encore Theatre Company in Dayton, OH, the SellADoor Theatre Company at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, and in New York at the CAP21 Theatre Company this June. Ryan and Joshua are both members of ASCAP and the Dramatist Guild.
NEXT: Now Entering The Crossroads of Theatre is a concert series that began in June 2010 dedicated to helping talented new artists meet and collaborate with the most promising emerging songwriters. Each concert exclusively features the work of a specific composer or lyricist and a rotating group of talented young performers. Following each concert is a reception for guests to meet the performers and featured artist(s), as well as other industry professionals in attendance.
