Union Temple of Brooklyn (17 Eastern Parkway) and Cabaret Life Productions Producer Stephen Hanks have announced that Union Temple will be presenting the third show of its "Cabaret Concert Series" (which serve as fundraising events to help finance some of Temple's many programs and projects). On Saturday, November 5, international Cabaret Superstar Mark Nadler will present his Award-Winning and critically acclaimed show Tschaikowsky (And Other Russians), which won a 2003 Bistro Award for "Raising Standards of Cabaret Performance," and received MAC and Nightlife Award Nominations for "Outstanding Performance in a Major Engagement." Union Temple will host Nadler's show in the Third Floor Social Hall. Tickets for the event are $30. Doors open at 6:30 pm, with the show starting at 7:30 pm.

Called "Mr. Show Business" by New York Times critic Stephen Holden, Nadler most recently performed Tschaikowsky (And Other Russians) to rave reviews in Hanks' monthly series New York Cabaret's Greatest Hits at the Metropolitan Room in Manhattan. Reviewer Alix Cohen of BroadwayWorld.com wrote: "[The title song of Nadler's show] features the names of 49 Russian composers delivered in rapid-fire, tongue-twisting succession few other performers could handle . . . Armed with considerable classical music prowess, Nadler has one of the best minds in the business. This show is unforgettable."

When Nadler first performed this show in 2003, the raves flowed like unlimited vodka shots. Wrote the Times' Holden: "It takes a comic spark plug touched with brilliance to pull off the kind of tour de force that the maniacally exuberant singer, pianist and cutup Mark Nadler has brought in his one-man show." Rex Reed of the New York Observer opined: "Mark Nadler is a combination of all the Marx Brothers put together . . . What he does is risky, impudent and defies description; talented and fearless, he never runs out of fresh ideas, and he has the wacky style and infectious humor to pull them off."

Mark Nadler is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist, tap-dancer and comedian. In 2015, Nadler was the recipient of the 2015 BroadwayWorld Editor's Choice Award for "Entertainer of the Year," and his one-man show, Crazy 1961, was aired on the New York PBS TV series, 66th & Broadway. Mark's other one-man cabaret shows include Running Wild: Songs and Scandals of the Roaring '20s, for which he received a 2015 MAC Award for "Outstanding Celebrity Artist" and a 2014 BroadwayWorld Award for "Best Show, Male." In 2013, his Off-Broadway show I'm a Stranger Here Myself was honored with the 2013 Nightlife Award and nominated for a Drama Desk Award and two BroadwayWorld.com Awards. Nadler has also performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra and has been a soloist with the Baltimore Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Oregon Symphony, National Arts Centre Symphony in Ottawa, and others.
