Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Broadway's Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Lysistrata Jones, Hairspray), and Marrick Smith (Fun Home, "The Lennon Report") as the guests of honor at the sixth edition of the Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame Mathieu's Soiree. This will be her final soiree of 2016.

The show will be held at The Duplex Cabaret Theater on November 10th at 9:30pm. Described as "an Ed Sullivan Show for a new generation" (Gerry Geddes), this "variety show with an avant garde twist" is as unpredictable as the patroness herself. The eclectic evening will feature an all New Group of rising stars in stand-up, poetry, dance, songwriting, and performance art while Chambers and Smith will accept creative dares that arise from Mme. M's insane imagination. The evening concludes with a party in the outer bar, because the only thing more interesting that Mme. M's show is her audience.

Hosted by four-time MAC Award nominee Drew Fornarola (off-Broadway's STRAIGHT) and directed by Tyler Spicer, the evening will also feature magicIan Alexander Boyce, improv artist J.W. Crump, actress Amy Jo Jackson, dancer Elliot Keller, poet Josh Lefkowitz, and singer/songwriter Billy Recce in addition to the guests of honor.

Madame Mathieu's Soiree will take place at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, 61 Christopher Street, on Thursday, November 10th at 9:30pm. Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door. There is a two-drink minimum. For tickets please call 212-989-3015, visit www.theduplex.com, or follow the link below: https://www.purplepass.com/#146382

This is the sixth and final edition of Madame's first year of shows. Previous guests of honor in 2016 have included Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On), Brandon Espinoza (Tuck Everlasting), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Robi Hager (Spring Awakening), L'ogan J'ones (The Spongebob Musical), drag personality Chelsea Piers, Ryann Redmond (If/Then), Maxx Reed (Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark), Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon), and Elena Wang (Allegiance). The Soiree will return for its second season in January 2017.
