Scobar Entertainment and the Iridium Jazz Club are pleased to announce Tony Award Winner Lillias White for one night only on Sunday evening February 14th for a special midnight Valentine's Day show.

Ms. White will perform an evening that's all about love - the good, the bad and the ugly! Featuring a mixture of old and new Jazz standards, Ms. White will be backed by a 6 piece band that includes Miles Dalto on piano and Patience Higgins on saxophone and flute.

The sensational, multi-talenTed White, recipient of the Tony, Emmy, Obie, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards is currently enjoying rave reviews for her starring role in the hit Broadway production of Fela! now playing at The Eugene O'Neill Theater. "Ms. White's voice can penetrate the heavens!" exclaims The New York Times.

Ms. White debuted on Broadway in Barnum in 1981 and has since appeared in the original production of Dreamgirls and in the 1987 revival, Cats, Rock'N'Roll! The First 5000 Years, Carrie and Chicago. Her tour-de-force performance in Cy Coleman's The Life was honored with the 1997 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

White's television appearances include a regular role on Sesame Street (Emmy Award), Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and NYPD Blue. Her film credits include How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Game 6, Pieces of April and Then She Found Me.
